About The Underboss

In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act. – George Orwell

“The Way of the Warrior has been misunderstood. It is not a means to kill and destroy others. Those who seek to compete and better one another are making a terrible mistake. To smash, injure, or destroy is the worst thing a human being can do. The real Way of a Warrior is to prevent such slaughter – it is the Art of Peace, the Power of Love.”
-Ueshiba Morihei, famous martial artist and founder of the Japanese martial art of aikido.

Karibu! (welcome).

This is the Underboss – born in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania and have lived and/or studied in Copenhagen, London, Dar-es-salaam, Nairobi, New York and now in Los Angeles since 2001.

The purpose of this blog is to create an enlightened world. I believe that most of the problems and suffering in the world today are caused by us – human beings. We have to power to set it straight, the answer to solving these problems is within us. If we conquer ourselves first can we then create an enlightened community, society, or even world.

Mostly you’ll find me ranting about current events, oppression, tyranny, government corruption and the economy but I am passionate about a lot of other things so occasionally you’ll find posts on soccer, music, cooking, the arts and travel.

There is a Warrior in all of us, some warriors believe that violence is the only way to win a battle. But a True Warrrior knows that to subdue the enemy with no fighting at all is the greatest skill. Hope you find enlightenment on this blog.

“Courage, above all things, is the first quality of a warrior.”

Peace to all.

  1. Hey UB, I found you by following a sitemeter link back to a google search for Taxi to the Dark Side. Your link was right next to the one that got to my blog. I like your basic look, your peaceful warrior stance, and in general we seem to see the world similarly. I got to see Taxi at the Anchorage International Film Festival in early December and my reaction was similar to yours. I can’t seem to open the police state video, but I think I saw it already and had the same reaction as you. Any way, just leaving tracks to let you know I was here and liked what I saw. I’ll keep checking, and if I ever get some time, I’ll look over what you’ve already done. Fat chance, right?

  2. I found your site in a post of yours related to my GM Bailout post. I will be very happy to add you to my burgeoning list of RSS feeds, and I look forward to learning from you in the future.

May authentic peace descend upon you and yours.
